Welcome to STARTYARD’s exhibition celebrating 1980s trainer culture and the opening of Wadesmith in Liverpool! This exhibition is an exploration of the history, culture, and spirit of 1980s trainer culture, with a special focus on the opening of Wadesmith in Liverpool. You will have the opportunity to view new artwork, a collection of Adidas iconic trainers by Nick Beedles as well as learn background stories from those who lived and experienced this era. Through this exhibition, you will get a firsthand look at the fashion, music, and lifestyle of the 1980s. You will be able to admire the works of art that capture the spirit of that period, as well as learn about the significance of the opening of Wadesmith in Liverpool.
